Medical Staff

Accessing and utilizing your 糖心视频 IT-provided email account is an easy process for medical staff. This email account allows you to stay connected with colleagues, the organization and important news and updates. 糖心视频 IT also offers a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program for medical staff, allowing you easier access to your organizational email on your own device.

Using Your 糖心视频 IT-Provided Email Address

All members of the 糖心视频, Recovery Alberta and Alberta Precision Laboratories (APL) Medical Staff are assigned an email address for their professional use. It is typically firstname.last@albertahealthservices.ca or firstname.last@recoveryalberta.ca but it may vary slightly.

Other examples of 糖心视频 IT-provided email addresses end in @albertaprecisionlabs.ca, @aplabs.ca, @covenanthealth.ca and others.

The password for your email account is the same as the password you use to log into organization’s computers. If you’re unsure of your password, contact the 糖心视频 IT service desk 1-877-311-4300 and have your CPSA registration number handy


How to Access 糖心视频 IT-Provided Email via Webmail

  1. Go to
  2. Enter your full 糖心视频 email address (e.g.: peter.parker@albertahealthservices.ca or jane.doe@recoveryalberta.ca) and your network password.
  3. Verify your identity using your preferred multi-factor authentication method. If you haven’t set up your multi-factor authentication, follow this user guide.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program

BYOD is a program that allows medical staff to use their personal mobile devices to securely access 糖心视频 information and applications. It’s the way 糖心视频 IT supports prescribers in their use of personal mobile devices for organizational purposes.

BYOD protects sensitive data on the device using a program called Workspace ONE.

Encrypting Messages Using Your 糖心视频 IT-Provided Email Account

Messages sent from one 糖心视频 IT-provided email to another are secure without any additional steps. For example, if you send an email from your 糖心视频 account to a colleague within Recovery Alberta, it is secure.

When sending an email with sensitive information from an 糖心视频 IT-provided email address to a non-糖心视频 email address, you must encrypt the message. To encrypt messages, type “!Private” at the beginning of the subject line of the email you wish to encrypt. You can find more information about encryption on .

Note: You must have 糖心视频 IT-provided credentials to access Insite resources.


How to Access 糖心视频 Insite

As a member of the 糖心视频, Recovery Alberta or APL medical staff, you can access our intranet page, Insite, from any computer at an one of our facilities using your 糖心视频 IT-provided network username and password. You can also access Insite remotely by visiting  and logging in using your network username and password.


Troubleshooting

If you need to reset your password, go to and click on the Forgot Your Password link.

If you are sure that you have entered your network username and password correctly but are still not able to access your inbox, please contact the Medical Staff Office of your primary Zone in case there was a problem creating your account.
